ICS M4A1 Review
Redwolf Airsoft has also posted up a review on the new ICS M4A1 AEG. Looks like the new mechbox design by ICS turns out to be a great new feature that allows for quick repairs to the mechbox. With tons of great features and accessories all packed together, the new ICS M4A1 is probably the most feature packed AEG right out of the box. Planet Airsoft hits One Million Viewers
You know when I first created this website, I never would have thought I would even get 100 visitors let alone one million visitors. I originally created Planet Airsoft as my personal hobby site, but it has come so far since then. I just want to say a great big thank you to all the people who have supported my website continously, you guys are my motivation and without you guys, I would have closed down this website a long time ago. I actually thought about giving up on this site several times but you guys are the ones that give me hope and for that I can not disappoint you all.

Planet Airsoft would not be what is today without our loyal visitors. I can't thank you guys enuff for all the kind emails and positive feedback that you guys have sent me. Currently many things are happening in my life and I have been really busy with school and what not, I appologize for not updating this site as often as I'd like, but I promise I will try my best to keep you all updated with the latest airsoft buzz. New Tokyo Marui MP5J AEG
Tokyo Marui has released a new MP5 variant dubbed the MP5J. The MP5J is basically a MP5 High Grade with several external differences. Most obvious is the weird looking retractable stock which has been reinforced for more rigidity and improved for better a better hold onto the shoulders. The MP5J also comes with a low profile scope mount for all those cool optics out there and a QD PDW style flash hider which hides a threaded tri-lug muzzle for silencer attachment. One of the new features of the MP5J is the 3-shot burst firing mode. Nothing too special but externally, the new high grade MP5's are much better in terms of construction and reliability.

Classic Army to Make M249 AEG
Spotted this at Arnies Airsoft. Seems like Classic Army has been secretly developing their own version of the M249 SAW. This AEG should be very interesting, I am sure there will a great deal of improvement from the Top M249 which has a few reliability issues that need to be addressed. CA will be using a TM style mechbox in their M249, which means you dont need to spend an arm and leg on the ANGS upgrade kits just to make your Minimi shoot nice and reliabiliy. Knowing CA, I'm pretty sure they will try to have more metal parts than the Top M249. I am very excited to see this gun when it comes out, if CA does it right with this project, I am sure they will give Top a run for their money.

Colt 1911 .45 Photos from Space Cowboy
This is for all you 1911 fans out there. Thanks to Space Cowboy for sending in these kick ass photos of the Colt 1911 pistol. You know, no matter how many times I look at a 1911, they are still so sexy, and these photos just reinforce that sexiness even more. The 1911 is an old pistol and has been in service for many years, maybe its the slimline silhouette it makes or the big .45 calibre barrel that gives it that edge. But one thing is for sure, the 1911 started the .45 craze and to this day, you still see new pistols being made with styling from the 1911.
