Tokyo Marui G36C Officially Unveiled
Well guys, the highly anticipated Tokyo Marui G36C has officially been unveiled at the 2002 Placon Show in Japan. Tokyo Hobby has posted this welcoming news on their website along with some of the first pictures of the TM G36C. Expect the new the G36 to be available to retailers in early 2003. This gun is definately going to be a HOT seller, so start saving up! MSRP is still unknown. [Pictures courtesy of Tokyo Hobby]

The main features of the Tokyo Marui G36C are a long mount rail in the form of a flat top carrying handle, heavy duty metal inner frame, folding stock with rubber butt plate, flip up rear sight, protected front sight, short 4-prong flash hider, under mount rail 5.56mm(.223) magazines with replica rounds(similar to the P90 reg magazines) and EG1000 motor.

Unforunately the new G36C only has enough room for a custom SD-Type battery in the handguard, so battery juice may be a problem for this gun, but I think it makes up for it with its looks. Extensive use of metal parts all over the gun makes it quite hefty and is definately one of TM's most realistic AEG's to date. Tokyo Marui has also announced that there will be a R.A.S unit for the G36C.

New G&G Armament Products
G&G Armament of Taiwan has updated their website with new info on their latest airsoft accessories, the AR .223 kit and the new M5 R.A.S. This company has been staying low key lately but have been secretly developing new projects under their doors. Those of you who have not seen any G&G products, let me know tell you that their products they produce are compareable to Guarder/Intruder Shop.

G&G Armament AR .223 Kit

The AR.223 kit is a specialized RIS system, sporting a one piece free floating barrel, it is quite similar to the real steel V-match handguard kits except it has the flexibility of a RIS. Don't know what is up with that HUGE scope, I think it's a little TOO big, looks more like a telescope, but I like the paintjob. The M5 RAS is basically just a RIS system for your M16 A2, but let me tell you that these RIS systems by G&G are no cheap replica, they are very high in detail, weight quite a bit and very realistic, definately one of the higher end RIS systems out there.

New Classic Army SR-16 AEG
Classic Army has announced their newest AEG, the SR-16. We should have seen this one coming eh ? Basically a CA M4 with the new CA RIS and full stock. No biggie but many people have grown to appreciate the full stock of the SR-16 and the ability to mount any accessory imagineable to the RIS. In case you haven't already known, rail interface systems have been in trend lately, its been growing at an exceptional speed. Stay tuned for many RIS accessories to come out from Classic Army.

New Classic Army RIS System
Classic Army is releasing two new Rail Interface Systems for TM M16's and M4's. The CA RIS sports a dummy heat shield and specialize KAC replica markings painted in white. Those of you looking for a RIS and don't wish to spend too much money, the CA RIS is the way to go. From the pictures, the CA RIS looks high quality indeed, with a very nice matte finish. But with any CA product, you never know until you get the goods in your hands. My CA M4 is still not shooting properly!

New First's Factory Accessories
First's Factory (Japan) has released two very cool accessories. First one is the FF Limited Edition Tactical M4A1 stock, this stock is made out of high impact ABS and it is limited edition. Second new accessory from FF is a HK tactical light mount for RIS's, looks like the TM Knight's Pro silencer but it's a tac light mount instead. MSRP for the LE stock is 12,800¥ and the HK taclight mount is 19,000¥.

New Canadian Retailer - Rangers Airsoft
There's a new Canadian airsoft retailer in Calgary and their called Rangers Airsoft. Must compliment the owner/webmaster on such a cool and neat looking website, love the layout and the flash animation. To celebrate the grand opening of Rangers Airsoft, they are having a special opening sale on various AEG's and GBB's.
