Pikachoad of Airsoft Players has posted up a huge article on his trip to Japan. The article is very interesting, with tons of pictures of the the biggest airsoft shops in Japan. Pikachoad had visitied some of the nicest airsoft stores in Japan including the main shop of Systema, Killer Studios, Western Arms and Echigoya. He also brings coverage of the 2002 Black Hole Show which is one of the cheapest places to purchase airsoft goods in Japan. A very interesting read, lots of tips for people who wish to make a trip to Japan and TONS of pics of walls of airsoft goodies.

Classic Army M4 Series Released !
After much anticipation and delays after delays, Classic Army has announced that their full metal M4 series will be released at the end of May. Although we have yet to examine the quality of the CA M4's, sources say that the new CA M4's will be higher quality than anticipated. The CA M4 comes with the Ver 2 M4A1 Metal Reciever, CA one piece outer barrel aswell as a CA reinforced mechbox. The quality of the internals are still unknown, but in such a complete package and the price, it will be well worth it even if the internals are shit. Lots of people upgrade the internals of CA full metal aeg's once they get it anyways to insure a high performing field weapon. I believe the CA M4's will be available from Tru Lai and APEC in Canada.

Gaurder Enhanced M4A1 Handguard
Guarder/Intruder Shop has just released a new enhanced handguard for the M4A1, it is a copy of the real steel M4 handguard in almost every detail. The dimensions of the handguard are of the real one, it is contructed of high quality ABS plastic with a matte black finish, unlike the shiney one that comes with the TM M4. This handguard also has an aluminum heat shield to mimic the real one and it comes with a steel handguard cap. Seems like Guarder is releasing many more high quality cosmetic replacement parts for the TM M16 series. They also have new scope mounts for the M40A1.

Tanio Koba Tactical M9 Light/Laser Mount
This is a new product from Tanio Koba, the TK M9 Tactical Mount for the Beretta M9. This mount allows the attachment of both a flashlight and a laser sight to give you that tactical look on your pistol, it mounts onto the trigger guard of any Beretta variant and it is contructed of metal. It kind of reminds me of the M9 in Metal Gear Solid 2, very cool, but if u do decide to get one of these, remember it will not fit in a holster with all the gadgets on the bottom.

Western Arms Para Ordance P14 .45
Western Arms has just released their new Para Ordnance P14 .45, this gun is basically a 1911 with a few variations, most notably the manufactur markings. Para Ordnance manufactures 1911 .45 lookalikes with their own unique styling. The release date is set at 05/15/02 but because of a copyright agreement between WA and Para Ordnance, WA cannot ship out these pistols directly, they are only allowed to distribute them in Japan. But needless to say HK retailers will definately get their hands on these pistols so there is nothing to worry. The P14 comes in black, silver and nato green.
