New Guarder SR-16 Metal Body
Guarder/Intruder Shop has just released a SR-16 metal body. We do not have much information on the new metal body but from the picture it looks pretty nice and the markings are accurate. Price and quality are still unknown but it should be cheaper than the Systema SR-16 metal body. HK retailers should of this product in the coming months.

New UCAC Website
The University of Calgary Airsoft Club has updated their site with a completely new design. Looks great and has some useful info that you might want to check out. They have posted up alot of new game pictures, check it out in the gallery section.

New Maruzen Upcoming Products
Seems like Maruzen is coming out with some very exciting new products. The new stuff includes a MP5K PDW GBB, 1911 Government Full Auto GBB, M16(M4A1) GBB, Maruzen Scorpion, NBB P99, NBB USP Standard and a NBB Government. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to this M4A1 GBB, if it is reliable and looks great then I'm sure its going to be a big hit. Ill get pictures posted up once they are available.

Mosquito Molds M11 Metal Frame
This is the new M11 metal frame for the Maruzen Mac11 by Mosquito Molds of Craft Apple Works. This frame is made from die-cast Zinc and is quite heavy. The result is a solid M11 that completely eliminates any creaking and magazine wobble noises. It also improves the overall rigidity of the M11 and makes it much more realistic. It does have the cobray logo markings but lacks the correct RPD Industries markings.

[ New Product from G&G ]

G&G Glock 19 Metal Slide Kit
Guay Guay Gunshop has just released their own Glock 19 metal slide kit, the kit not only comes with a metal slide and outer barrel but it also includes a steel guide rod with stronger recoil spring and a metal rear sight. The metal slide also has the correct Glock markings, with the Glock logo then "Austria" not the "Mil-Spec" . The G&G G19 kit retails for around $120 CDN in Taiwan.

OPERATION: Capital Thunder II
Probably the biggest airsoft event in Canada, OPERATION: Capital Thunder II is set for 18th. August, 2002. After a very successful event last year, of over 100 players from all accross the country, including players from the US. This year they are anticipating 200 players at OP: Capital Thunder II which is taking place in Ottawa, Ontario. If your're not there, you're missing out big time.

WA M8045 Wild Cougar
This is the new Beretta M8045 Wild Cougar by Western Arms. The Wild Cougar is essentially an extended Beretta Cougar with a weaver rail mount on the lower reciever and an silencer muzzle attached to an extended slide block. Tanaka S&W M29 .44 Magnum Review
Redwolf Airsoft has posted up a great review on the Tanaka Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum revolver. They speak highly of Tanaka's Pegasus system which packs alot of power into each shot while doing it efficiently. This solved many of the old problems associated with Kokusai revolvers which utilized a shell firing system.

Guarder Top M249 Metal Upgrade Parts
Guarder/Intruder Shop has just released two metal upgrade parts for the Top M249 Minimi. The new release consists of a steel outer barrel kit which is made up of 4 parts, flash hider, front barrel, rear barrel and barrel base. Aswell as an Aluminum Alloy Metal Feed Tray Cover which replaces the standard feed tray cover. This new feed tray weighs a whopping 1000g.

Just got word from Arnies Airsoft that Top will be producing an electric powered M82A1 Barret and the Galil. Top has undertaken an extensive development project to design a product these new electric powered guns and hopefully they will look just as good as the Top M249. The release date for the Galil is set some time around Christmas of 2002. It's going to be interesting to see what Top will come up with in the future. In Japan the race to produce an M82A1 has begun.
